Each OTA class created a large format painting to hang in the lunchroom to beautify and help reduce the noise.
Kindergarten Students at work on a Gustav Klimt inspired (perhaps a bit of Tim Burton as well! ) Tree of Life!
1st Grade Students had fun creating art inspired by Jackson Pollock- OTA Style!
2nd Grade went “Paleolithic” with their interpretation of the cave paintings found in Lascaux Cave, France

3rd grade were inspired by artist Sonia Delauney’s Electric Prisms, “Orphism”, and a nutritious bowl of fruit!



4th graders were inspired by artists Manny Farber and Wayne Thiebaud and some not so nutritious food…. notice the line of ants also enjoying the visual feast!


5th grade students painted traditional style- a bowl of fruit- in their interpretation of 17th century painter Jacob van Hulsdonck’s Plums and Peaches- in OTA Style!






6th graders were inspired by the Industrial Revolution and Diego Rivera- a special thanks to Stevie and Julie for assisting with this project!
7th grade looked to Vincent van Gogh for inspiration when they created this San Diego seascape Van Gogh style!




Andy Warhol inspired 8th graders to hold an OTA Soup Can contest– Winner Zoe Mitchell’s design was made into a silk screen, reproduced “a la Andy Warhol!”— each student painted the design in their own way!




Finally, Children Paint The Masters ™after school Art club contributed their own painting in the style of Ancient Egypt !
